WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ametros, the leader in Medicare Set Aside professional administration, has created a Medical Advisory Council.
“This council is the first of its kind, leveraging trusted medical expertise to ensure the injured individuals we serve have access to cost-effective and high-quality healthcare after settling their insurance claims. We are delighted to launch the council with two esteemed physicians in Ben and Riley,” said CEO Porter Leslie.
Initial council members are Benedict Nwachukwu, MD, MBA and Riley Williams, III, MD. These orthopedic experts are co-founders and co-CEOs of BICMD, a New York City-based telemedicine company that helps patients find orthopedic specialists for on-demand urgent care, orthopedic consultations, and expert medical opinions.
The physicians will also provide expert medical opinions to Ametros members when needed and serve as medical directors on complex cases. In addition, Medical Advisory Council members will write educational articles and participate in webinars, including one on January 28 at 2 p.m. EST, which answers the question: “When is a 2nd Opinion Appropriate?” Register here: ametros.com/medical-advisory-webinar
