SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affirm, a more flexible and transparent alternative to credit cards, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of its Class A common stock at a price of $49.00 per share. Affirm is offering 24,600,000 shares of its Class A common stock. The shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on January 13, 2021 under the symbol "AFRM" and the offering is expected to close on January 15, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions. In addition, Affirm has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,690,000 shares of Class A common stock at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The gross proceeds from the offering to Affirm, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses payable by Affirm, are expected to be approximately $1.2 billion, excluding any exercise of the underwriters' option to purchase additional shares.
Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Allen & Company LLC are acting as lead book-running managers for the offering. RBC Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Truist Securities, Siebert Williams Shank and Deutsche Bank Securities are acting as book-running managers for the offering.
