BERWYN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--After months of record growth for JDog Brands, the Veteran and Military-family owned franchise system is proud to announce the promotion of Dana Forester to President and COO of JDog Carpet Cleaning. Forester -- an Air Force Veteran -- has served as Vice President of Operations for the past two years, helping Veterans and Military family members realize their dreams of business ownership.
As President and COO, Forester will be responsible for identifying and recruiting potential JDog Carpet Cleaning franchise candidates looking for fulfilling careers with a patriotic purpose, and for helping current franchisees expand into new territories. She will continue to strategically train, support, and advise franchisees. Forester will spearhead JDog Carpet Cleaning’s effort to double its footprint in 2021: A challenge she’s well-prepared for as she and her team doubled franchise sales in 2020.
“Dana has worked tirelessly to bring more Veterans and Military family members into the business. As she propelled others to success, her own military training positioned her to grow within our ranks,” said Army Veteran Jerry Flanagan, co-founder and CEO of JDog Brands. “Dana’s work ethic and problem-solving abilities gain her the respect and confidence of the franchisees she serves. But more than that, Dana leads from the front and has proved she can hustle. We know Dana will continue to help us create business ownership opportunities for Veterans and their families, and live by our values of Respect, Integrity, and Trust.”
Prior to the launch of JDog Carpet Cleaning in 2019, Forester served as the Director of Operations and Ramp Up Coach of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, the first service offering under the JDog Brands portfolio. Before joining JDog in 2016, she worked as an Emergency Services Dispatcher.
JDog Brands is committed to hiring Veterans and Military family members, including among its own leadership team. Forester fits both criteria. She served in the Air Force for four years and belongs to a very small community of women who have served as a Munitions Systems Specialist -- a predominantly male field. She comes from a strong legacy of military service, including her uncle, Ken Baldwin, who was an original member of the ‘Band of Brothers.’
“My Air Force training taught me how to effectively manage people, projects, and assets, and how to work collectively with my team for the greater good,” said Forester. “I lean on that experience every day at JDog, but this is more than a job to me. It has become my life’s work and passion, and I’m proud to continue creating jobs for Veterans and their families.”
JDog Brands is committed to its people, purpose, and patriotism, and Forester’s promotion is yet another way the company leads with its actions. For more information about JDog Brands and JDog Carpet Cleaning, visit www.jdog.com.
