BROWNSVILLE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As the Brownsville community faces growing COVID numbers, sustained unemployment and strains on local education, activities and services, OmniTRAX and the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway (BRG) today distributed $100,000 in contributions to eight local non-profits. OmniTRAX COO Gord Anutooshkin, BRG President Norma Torres and OmniTRAX Director of Economic Development Federico Diaz Page joined board members and representatives from the receiving organizations at the BRG office today to share the company’s commitment to the region.

OmniTRAX and the BRG are supporting Proyecto Juan Diego, Moody Clinic, Good Neighbor Settlement, Sunshine Heaven, Walk for Women, Gladys Porter Zoo and the local Boy Scout and Girl Scout councils.
