ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CHOICE Administrators is expanding coverage through ChoiceBuilder, its ancillary-only benefits exchange. Insurance brokers can now offer employer-sponsored and voluntary insurance to businesses with up to 500 employees for coverage effective March 1, 2021. Options include dental, vision, chiropractic & acupuncture, and life insurance.
“Brokers selling ChoiceBuilder can now give larger groups access to the state’s most robust ancillary benefits exchange,” said Michael Payton, Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management at CHOICE Administrators. “ChoiceBuilder is the only program in California that offers dental, vision, chiro, acupuncture, and life from multiple insurers in one program, with one monthly bill. It’s bundled together for seamless employer administration.”
ChoiceBuilder can be offered alongside any group medical plan. It gives employers greater financial flexibility by allowing them to pay for all or part of the premium for coverage. Employers also have the option to offer benefits on a voluntary basis, meaning employees pay 100% of the premium if they decide to enroll. Employees and dependents have more plan options than any other ancillary program in California. Rates are affordable and coverage is available on a simplified underwriting basis.
ChoiceBuilder offers dental insurance through Ameritas, Anthem Blue Cross, Delta Dental, and MetLife. Vision coverage is available from EyeMed and VSP. Landmark Healthplan offers chiropractic and acupuncture plans. Life insurance is available from Assurity Life.
ChoiceBuilder is available exclusively through CHOICE Administrators and our General Agency partners: Beere & Purves, BenefitMall, Claremont Insurance Services, Dickerson Insurance Services, LISI, Rogers Benefit Group, and Word & Brown General Agency. Employers interested in offering ChoiceBuilder to employees should ask a broker for information.
