WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Commonwealth Financial Network®, a national firm dedicated to providing advisor-focused business solutions, has launched its first digital platform focused exclusively on fostering connections among advisors affiliated with the firm. Commonwealth Connect builds on the firm’s strong community foundation by allowing its network of more than 2,000 advisors to find each other based on location, niche clientele, interests, and hobbies.
“Our advisors have been asking for more ways to network with each other outside of our annual conferences and development programs. We’re pleased to be able to offer them a platform where they can build new relationships with fellow advisors,” said Miriam Manning, senior vice president, chief information officer. “Especially during these uncertain times, building and maintaining meaningful relationships with our colleagues is more important than ever.”
Commonwealth built the platform in-house so affiliated advisors would receive a bespoke experience that answered their most frequently asked questions. Initially created in response to advisor feedback and requests to connect with colleagues geographically, the platform grew to include more personal interests. “We wanted our advisors to find their colleagues with similar clientele so they can share best practices and help each other grow, but it’s also nice when we can bond over personal interests, like volunteering or sports,” Manning said.
Commonwealth’s independent financial advisors are now using Commonwealth Connect to build organic communities based on mutual interests, deepening their connection to the firm and each other. “Keeping connected with my fellow financial advisors at Commonwealth is important to me. It satisfies my desire to network with kind and talented people who share valuable opinions and perspectives,” said Mark Colgan, CFP®, founding partner, private wealth advisor, Montage Wealth Management. “Commonwealth’s new Connect platform is the perfect tool to help me find and stay connected with such colleagues.”
