Mutual of Omaha Director Sheila Hooda Named to Directorship 100

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sheila Hooda, a member of the Mutual of Omaha Board of Directors, recently was named to the Directorship 100 by the National Association of Corporate Directors.

The Directorship 100 honors the nation’s most influential people in the boardroom and corporate governance community. It recognizes those who exemplify knowledge, leadership, integrity and excellence and who play a significant role in shaping the greater boardroom agenda.

Ms. Hooda was elected to the Mutual of Omaha Board in 2016. She is CEO, President and Founder of Alpha Advisory Partners, an advisory firm providing growth strategy, M&A and turnaround services for the financial and business services sectors. Previously, she was Global Head of M&A and Corporate Development at TIAA. She has also held senior leadership positions with Thomson Reuters, Credit Suisse Investment Bank and Bankers Trust. Ms. Hooda started her career in the U.S.A. as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Ms. Hooda is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is also a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a member of Women Corporate Directors. She also serves on the Board of Directors of ProSight Global Inc (NYSE: PROS) and was formerly on the Board of Virtus Investment Partners (Nasdaq: VRTS). She also serves on various nonprofit boards in the areas of Education, Vocational skill development, Women’s empowerment and Entrepreneurship.

Ms. Hooda is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
