SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SpotOn Transact, Inc (“SpotOn”), an innovative software and payments company, announced today that it has hired Kevin Bryla as its Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Customer Experience. The company has been adding talent across the organization to meet expanding customer demands, which includes more than 300 new employees across all departments over the last six months.
Bryla is a long-time marketing executive having thrived in-and-around SpotOn’s core market. His career is highlighted by his time at HR software giant ADP (NASDAQ:ADP), a $60+ billion company servicing hundreds of thousands of customers globally. At ADP he served as CMO and Head of Communications, spearheading direct marketing efforts which included initiatives to support field sales account executives, create a customer ecosystem and build a digital brand. Prior to ADP, Bryla served in senior marketing roles with industry leads such as GE Energy, Ingersoll Rand, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Henkel. Most recently, Bryla was Executive Vice President and CMO of small business lender National Funding and enterprise SaaS startup Kyriba, driving customer acquisition efforts at both companies.
“The small business resurgence is underway as business owners are embracing new technology to adapt to the pandemic, while consumers are trying harder to support their local businesses. This has created a massive shift to digital-first solutions, as small businesses look to technology as an enabler of growth and enhanced customer experiences,” said Bryla. “Industry-defining brands are always driven by great products and an obsession with the customer, both of which are in SpotOn’s core DNA. I’m thrilled to join the growing SpotOn team and help further the mission of bringing digital solutions to every SMB nationwide.”
“Kevin has the perfect background to help bring SpotOn to the next level and beyond,” said Zach Hyman, SpotOn co-CEO. “As we expand beyond 1,000 Account Executives nationwide, we want to support their efforts and build a brand that helps us create a community amongst hundreds of thousands of customers. Kevin will be instrumental in doing that.”
The addition of Bryla is the latest in a recent string of accomplishments by the company. In September SpotOn announced its $60 million Series C fundraise led by DST Global, as well as its acquisition of leading reservation management software provider Seatninja in August. SpotOn is based in San Francisco with offices in Chicago, Mexico City, Detroit, Denver and Krakow, as well as field sales executives nationwide.
