(LifeStance), the leading provider of outpatient behavioral health services in the United States, announced today that Pablo Pantaleoni will join the company as its Chief Digital Officer, effective October 19, 2020. Pantaleoni will lead and expand LifeStance’s digital strategy and capabilities across its telehealth and in-person treatment services. The appointment builds on LifeStance’s digital capabilities, furthering the company’s efforts to provide a best-in-class patient experience, while expanding patient access across the country to a range of affordable and high-quality mental health services.

Pantaleoni brings to LifeStance more than 12 years of experience developing and leading digital products and services, with a focus on healthcare. He joins the company from Headspace, where he most recently led the company’s digital therapeutics subsidiary (Headspace Health). He also served as the parent company’s Vice President of Strategy and New Ventures, leading a team focused on Headspace’s global corporate strategy, technology and regulatory strategy, design research, and new ventures. Prior to Headspace, Pantaleoni served as a Senior Director of Health and Venture Design at IDEO, a leading design and innovation consultancy, where he led the healthcare portfolio and worked with startups and global corporations alike to develop digital products and services at the intersection of health and other industries, such as mobility, retail, and education.

Pantaleoni co-founded Medtep, a digital health startup that facilitates lasting behavioral changes by personalizing validated prevention and treatment plans. Since 2018 he has co-led the Digital Health NEXT Program at Stanford Biodesign, where he guides students to start their own businesses in digital health. Pantaleoni holds a master’s degree in Business Technology from the Ramon Llull University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Pompeu Fabra University. He was named to Forbes 30 Under 30, Healthcare list in 2016.
