LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Origin Holdings, Inc., including its subsidiaries Origin Consulting and Origin SmartOps, has selected Justin Saye as the new Chief Executive Officer.
Mark L. Black, Origin’s founder and current CEO, will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Origin Holdings, Inc. is the leading global provider of professional services, managed services, and customer interface software to the utility sector.
“In 2006, when I started Origin, I envisioned a credible consulting organization with a very satisfied client base. I did not expect that we would evolve into the diverse, multi-faceted service organization that we are today. We have expanded our offerings, built and deployed software to meet various market requests, and initiated a very strong growth curve while maintaining quality,” said Black. “I am very satisfied when I look into my rear-view mirror. What lies ahead is exciting and compelling. Justin Saye is an excellent complement to our history and an important sponsor for what lies ahead of us. I'm excited to see how we grow as a company and team, and continue to earn our customers’ trust in the coming months and years.”
Prior to joining Origin, Saye spent twenty years building and growing technology startup companies encompassing professional services, integrated hardware, enterprise software and Software as a Service (SaaS). He has held senior leadership positions in Agtech, Adtech, Connected Vehicle, and enterprise IT service companies serving private and public entities, culminating in two IPO’s and three acquisitions.
Most recently, Saye was Chief Operating Officer at iFood Decision Sciences Inc., an industry leader in food safety and quality software, where he was responsible for a 200 percent growth trajectory over two years. Prior to iFood, Saye was Vice President at The Trade Desk (Nasdaq: TTD), which grew from $100M to $6B in market valuation through an IPO during his time with the company.
“Of the hundreds of companies I’ve worked with in the last twenty years, rarely have I ever seen a company as well positioned as Origin,” said Saye. “Mark and the team have created an incredible success story and I’m excited to help them build on this foundation. The industry is shifting quickly and materially—it needs strong companies with expertise in professional service integrations, business transformations, and public-grade software products. I am thrilled to be leading this amazing team on the next phase of growth.”
