Lin International (TYLI) Group, a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm, announces that Tom Price, P.E., has been hired as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TYLI Group and the Global Infrastructure pillar of Dar Group, the firm’s parent company. Based in Sacramento, California, Price’s responsibilities include building top-line revenue through the expansion and diversification of technical services and clients across the infrastructure market worldwide. He will also oversee business operations, project delivery, and other complementary areas of quality, client satisfaction, and talent management.
Price reports to Matthew G. Cummings, P.E., President and Chief Executive Officer of TYLI Group and the Global Infrastructure pillar. The Global Infrastructure pillar consists of over 5,000 professionals, located in 21 countries across the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe, who provide a powerful range of technical expertise and services in the multi-disciplinary design, planning, and project management for buildings, transportation, technology, and the environment.
Price joins TYLI Group with more than 29 years of experience in the industry. His expertise includes holding senior leadership roles for global Architecture/Engineering (A/E) firms, where he has led strategy and sales, operations, acquisition integrations and divestitures, risk management, financial management, and staffing.
He most recently led the Global Growth, Strategy, and Solutions unit for a large A/E firm, where he oversaw all global elements for the buildings, infrastructure, and advanced facilities lines of business worldwide. In that role, Price was also responsible for strategy and growth, project delivery excellence, talent management, innovation, and communities of practice, including consulting, engineering, design-build, and operations management.
Accomplishments for Price include creating a global unit to formalize and connect technical practices worldwide, driving innovation, technical staff development, technical excellence, and business growth while creating a formal career path for technically focused staff. He has also managed major infrastructure projects throughout his career.

Price is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California and certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP). His past leadership roles with industry organizations include serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the California Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and volunteering on the Water Utility Advisory Committee for the City of Woodland, California.
Price earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He also received a Michigan Ross Distinguished Leader Executive Certificate, Foundations of Leadership, from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
