CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regardless of how you’re watching the game this football season, you already know Bojangles can help you celebrate your team with one of its team-themed Big Bo Boxes, and today the Southern food chain is adding in a little friendly competition. Now through Dec. 3, fans of each of the 2020 Bojangles’ Big Bo Box teams are invited to post pictures of themselves “fangating” while enjoying their team’s Big Bo Box, using the hashtags #BoFangateContest and #ItsBoTime to enter to win either a pair of season tickets to their team’s 2021 season or a Bojangles-branded golf cart.
“We know this season is unlike any we’ve experienced in the past, but that doesn’t change fans’ passion and commitment for their teams,” said Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer for Bojangles. “We created this competition to invite everyone to celebrate together virtually and show us how you’re fangating this season. Our winner will definitely have something to look forward to in 2021.”
Each week, Bojangles will review the entries based on creativity, photo composition and theme to win prizes and be featured on Bojangles’ social channels. At the culmination of the challenge, Bojangles will announce the overall winner, crown a BOfficial Fangate-r and award them with their choice of either a pair of season tickets to their Big Bo Box teams’ 2021 games or a Bojangles-themed golf cart – along with bragging rights for the rest of time.
Bojangles’ limited-time, 2020 collection of team-themed Big Bo Boxes includes the University of Alabama, Clemson University, East Carolina University, East Tennessee State University, James Madison University, University of Georgia, University of North Carolina Wilmington, University of South Carolina, University of Virginia, University of Tennessee, Western Carolina University and – of course – Bojangles’ NFL home team, the Carolina Panthers.
Each Big Bo Box offers our delicious 8, 12 or 20-piece meals with a choice of home-style fixin’s, biscuits and Legendary Iced Tea®. The boxes also include cups, plates and utensils. The team-themed Big Bo Boxes will be available at restaurants in each team’s primary market(s).
