Cintas Survey Shows Majority of Americans Value COVID-19 Precautions

CINCINNATI--()--A new online survey commissioned by Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) revealed that more than two-thirds (68%) of Americans would feel more confident entering public facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic if employees and patrons were wearing masks. The survey also found that over three in five Americans (62%) say frequent disinfection and sanitization of restrooms in public facilities would make them feel more self-assured. The survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults was conducted for Cintas by The Harris Poll.

“The pandemic has resulted in many businesses reevaluating health and safety protocols, including the way they approach cleaning,” said Sean Mulcahey, marketing manager, Cintas. “Taking the proper precautions can instill confidence in customers and secure repeat business at a time when revenue is crucial.”

The survey also revealed that 61% of Americans say they would feel more confident if the facility has implemented additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols, which includes professional application of a disinfectant or sanitizer.
