BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jessica Van Fleet-Green joins the leadership team of Daiya Healthcare. Reporting to Founder and CEO, Dr. Bhupinder Walia, she will lead a growing team of post-acute and long-term care clinicians in multiple centers across the Western United States.
Dr. Van Fleet-Green is an experienced family physician, medical director, and physician executive. She is a fellow for the American Academy of Family Physicians and Certified Medical Director with the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care (PALTC) and serves on the board for the Washington State Society of PALTC Medicine. Her work in the COVID-19 crisis related to Personal Protective Equipment, drop teams to support public health efforts, and mass testing has been featured in nationwide broadcasted webinars, public radio, Amazon, and the Tacoma News Tribune.
Since 2017, Dr. Van Fleet-Green has been serving as the Chief Medical Officer for Physicians of Southwest Washington, a population health company with demonstrated excellence in risk-based models. In addition to her primary role with leadership of the organization, she also served as a clinical officer for MultiCare Health Systems working on post-acute strategy and quality metric development. Dr. Van Fleet-Green’s interests include quality improvement, systems-based practice, and policy and advocacy work for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care. She is well versed in Advanced Alternative Payment Models and Value Based Healthcare. Dr. Van Fleet-Green has demonstrated rapport with her clinician, administrator, and nursing colleagues alike and prioritizes fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary process to create a holistic, patient-centered experience.

Dr. Van Fleet-Green attended the University of Washington where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine, Prosthetics-Orthotics, and went on to attend medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She trained in Family Medicine at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia as part of the University of Washington WWAMI Residency Program and remained on faculty teaching residents until 2019. She is an avid distance runner and equestrian and lives in Washington State with her spouse and two children.
