Rod Walker Named President of Consulting at Strategy Execution and Change Firm Kotter

Mr. Walker to join Kotter’s senior leadership team to drive consulting operations

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kotter today announced that Rod Walker has been promoted to President of Consulting and has joined Kotter’s Senior Leadership Team and Management Committee. In this new role, Mr. Walker will be responsible for driving all consulting operations at Kotter and serving as lead consultant for key clients and their leadership teams. He will also be focused on guiding the overall growth and profitability of the organization.

While Kotter is headquartered in Cambridge, MA, Mr. Walker is based in Atlanta. “We are very excited to bring Rod into this new role, especially at this critical moment in history,” said Rick Western, Kotter’s CEO. “With over 20 years of experience accelerating change and transformation for some of the world’s most high-profile organizations, Rod’s leadership and vision will be invaluable to helping our clients innovate, transform and ultimately thrive in the face of lasting COVID-related disruption and the increasing pace of change.”

Previously, Mr. Walker served as Managing Director at Kotter where he led strategic client relationships; created and executed on solutions to activate complex change; managed business development across Kotter’s core capabilities; and worked with client executive teams to realize immediate and longer term organizational and leadership behavior change. Prior to joining Kotter, Mr. Walker served as a Senior Vice President at Consequent, a business transformation consulting firm, where he helped companies restructure operations, and as a Senior Manager at Deloitte, where he focused on strategy and execution for client teams and organizations.

Mr. Walker earned his MBA from The University of North Carolina and his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Clark Atlanta University. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School General Management Program and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates.
