NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PhyMed Healthcare Group has announced that its Board of Directors has named Dr. Patrick Forrest, most recently Chief Medical Officer, as President and is promoting Steve Mason from Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Marty Bonick, Chief Executive Officer, will be departing the organization in August after three years leading the growth of the organization to rejoin the acute-care hospital sector.
The PhyMed Board of Directors released a statement, “Patrick and Steve have extensive leadership background in managing anesthesia practices, and we are excited to promote these talented executives to lead the company. We have full confidence in their abilities to navigate the company into the future.

Dr. Forrest has held various leadership roles within the company for over 20 years. Mr. Mason has held numerous leadership positions in anesthesia practices and other corporate settings with over 20 years’ experience in the anesthesia industry, including a strong background in practice management, anesthesia billing and facility contract negotiations.
