Chief Operation Officer
Rosa Garcia Rinder will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer effective June 1. Ms. Garcia Rinder joined The Difference Card in January 2020 as a key addition to the leadership team. She joined the Company with 16 years of scaling for growth in healthcare organizations including carriers, TPAs and technology companies. Prior to joining The Difference Card, Ms. Garcia Rinder was Director of Strategic Accounts at Alegeus Technologies and Director of Operations at Choice Strategies, a Division of Wage Works. Ms. Garcia Rinder will drive the service delivery department to a best in class experience while continuing to streamline operations and efficiencies within the company.
Chief Revenue Officer
Chris Calderone will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer effective June 18 with the departure of current CRO, Joe Donovan. Mr. Calderone has worked at The Difference Card for the past 9 years, starting as a Senior Consultant and moving into the East Coast Sales Director position 5 years ago. Prior to joining The Difference Card, Mr. Calderone was a Sales Executive at Anthem and Aetna winning top sales awards at both organizations. Mr. Calderone's passion for The Difference Card, successful sales experience and relationship with brokers makes him the ideal person to assume the CRO role.
Chief Risk Officer
Carol Adams continues as Chief Risk Officer with an expanded role by joining the Executive Management Team. Ms. Adams joined the company in January 2018 to spearhead product development and risk management, ultimately creating the Difference Guarantee insured product. Prior to joining The Difference Card, Ms. Adams was the Chief Underwriting Officer for Arch Insurance Group, Accident and Health, where she was responsible for the strategic growth of the division and overall risk management. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare and insurance industry, she has also served as EVP, Chief Operating Officer with Berkley A&H and SVP, Chief Underwriting Officer of ACE USA A&H (Chubb), joining these companies at the inception of their business operations and establishing their presence in the North American markets. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Chief Technology Officer
Dan Masciopinto will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer effective June 1. Mr. Masciopinto brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry. Prior to joining The Difference Card, Mr. Masciopinto was the Head of Product Development at NextHealth Technologies, a leading provider of prescriptive analytic solutions to health plans. He also served as the CTO of HealthConnect Systems for 15 years, where he developed and managed a quoting & enrollment SAAS platform leveraged by health plans and brokers to facilitate the sale of individual, small group and mid-market products.
