IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices today announced that network member Commonwealth Real Estate is acquiring N.E. Prime Properties, also a network member. The acquisition adds 150 sales associates to Commonwealth Real Estate.
In a mutually beneficial partnership, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices N.E. Prime Properties have made a deal to become a single company under Commonwealth. The acquisition extends Commonwealth’s presence throughout New England and supports N.E. Prime Properties’ sales associates by bringing them into a larger volume company. Since 1993, N.E. Prime Properties has grown to include offices throughout Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Commonwealth Real Estate has a large presence in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is a member of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Elite Circle, a designation that the company is one of the top 50 revenue earners in the global network.
