Margo Mackedanz and J.R. Fasy Join Keystone’s Expansion Efforts in Midwest and Mid-Atlantic

NORTHUMBERLAND, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Keystone Insurers Group (Keystone) today named Margo Mackedanz as its new executive director of franchise expansion and J.R. Fasy as its new director of franchise expansion. These announcements come as Keystone seeks to integrate a new franchise expansion strategy in midwestern and mid-Atlantic states.

“With consolidation and large private equity occurring at breakneck speed, the future can seem uncertain for independent agencies,” said Joe Joyce, executive vice president of franchise sales and property and casualty. “Keystone’s mission is to empower our agencies with service, consultative expertise, and national resources they source locally, helping them remain truly independent while maintaining a competitive edge. Bringing Margo and J.R. to our franchising team will continue our mission of bringing powerful partnerships to our agents that generate prosperity for everyone.”

Mackedanz previously served as the Minnesota and Iowa state vice president where she helped in the evaluation of new partners and served as a liaison between agency staff and carrier partners. She has obtained her Associate in Personal Insurance (API) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. Fasy comes to Keystone from Markel Insurance Company where he served as the Manager of Business Development with Markel Specialty. He is an Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI).
