Blo Blow Dry Bar Franchise Owner Jean Camilletti Supports Corporate Initiative in Launching Special Offer to Benefit Frontline Healthcare Personnel During COVID-19 Pandemic

Gift Card Give Back Program Promotion Honors Efforts of Local Hospital Workers and Other Essential Healthcare Personnel on Long Island, in Midtown Manhattan and West Hartford, Conn.; Supports Small Business

NEW YORK--()--Blo Blow Dry Bar, which offers customized blowouts, announced today the launch of its Gift Card Give Back initiative, targeted at supporting local hospital workers and other essential healthcare personnel working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blo Blow Dry Bar Franchise Owner Jean Camilletti, who owns locations in the Murray Hill section of New York City and on East 49th Street in Manhattan as well as one in Greenvale, N.Y. on Long Island and another in West Hartford, Conn., will be offering the special promotion.

As of April 1, 2020, for every gift card valued at $50 or more purchased from any of these four Blo Blow Dry Bar locations, a blowout will be donated to a front-line healthcare worker within the respective local communities of where the gift card was bought. The gift cards can be used at any of Blo Blow Dry Bar’s 100+ U.S. locations and never expire.

The Blo Blow Dry Bars owned and operated by Camilletti will be identifying a local hospital with which to coordinate and select beneficiaries of the Gift Card Give Back program. Due to local government mandates, these locations are temporarily closed. When they re-open, each location will donate the number of blow outs equal to the number of cards sold to workers at the locally identified hospital.

Gift cards can be purchased from any of Camilletti’s Blo Blow Dry Bar locations in support of local essential hospital and healthcare workers and small business throughout each area by contacting the location directly:

“During these unprecedented times for everyone, Blo Blow Dry Bar is honoring local healthcare workers at the frontlines, battling the current outbreak our world is facing. The incomparable stress and long workdays they are enduring is unlike anything we have ever witnessed. To give our local healthcare workers something to look forward to and to thank them for their unrelenting dedication to keeping our communities safe, Blo Blow Dry Bar created this program to recognize these selfless efforts. We are supporting those on the frontlines of COVID-19 as our way of saying thanks to these special healthcare workers for their hard work and bravery,” explained Camilletti.

“This Gift Card Give Bank program also affords our clients the chance to participate as they too can feel proud to make contributions within the community while supporting local small businesses. All of us at Blo Blow Dry Bar are extremely grateful for the healthcare workers in each of the markets we serve and appreciate the sacrifices they are making each and every day as we all navigate the COVID-19 pandemic,” Camilletti said.

Once each of Camilletti’s Blow Blo Dry Bars reopen as local restrictions are lifted, she and her team will reach out to local hospitals and health systems to reward local workers with the gift of a blowout.
