SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Levi Strauss & Co. (LEVI) announced today the pricing of $500 million of its 5.00% senior notes due 2025 at a price of 100.50% of the principal amount of the notes, plus accrued interest from November 1, 2019, to the closing date, in a private placement conducted pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The sale of the notes is expected to close on April 17, 2020. The notes are part of a series of 5.00% senior notes due 2025 issued by the company on April 27, 2015. Upon completion of the offering, the aggregate principal amount of the series of 5.00% senior notes due 2025 that will be outstanding will be $1 billion.
The company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes and to pay fees and expenses related to the offering.
