Camden Property Trust to Hold Virtual Annual Meeting of Shareholders

HOUSTON--()--Camden Property Trust (NYSE:CPT) (the “Company”) today announced due to the emerging public health impact of the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) and to support the health and well-being of its shareholders, the time and location of the Annual Meeting of shareholders has been changed. As previously announced, the Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 but will be held at 10:00 a.m. CDT. In light of public health concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak, the Annual Meeting will be held in a virtual meeting format only. Shareholders will not be able to attend the Annual Meeting physically.

As described in the proxy materials for the Annual Meeting previously distributed, shareholders are entitled to participate in the Annual Meeting if they were a shareholder as of the close of business on March 16, 2020, the record date, or hold a legal proxy for the meeting provided by its bank, broker, or nominee. Shareholders who wish to attend the virtual meeting should log in at 9:45 a.m. CDT on May 13, 2020 at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/CPT2020 to register. Shareholders must enter the control number found on their proxy card, voting instruction form or notice previously received. Shareholders may vote during the Annual Meeting by following the instructions available on the meeting website during the meeting. Whether or not shareholders plan to attend the Annual Meeting, we urge shareholders to vote and submit their proxy in advance of the Annual Meeting by one of the methods described in the proxy materials for the Annual Meeting. The proxy card included with the proxy materials previously distributed will not be updated to reflect the change in time or location and may continue to be used to vote Camden shares in connection with the Annual Meeting.
