Office Properties Income Trust Announces Property Sale for $22.2 Million

NEWTON, Mass.--()--Office Properties Income Trust (Nasdaq: OPI) today announced that it has sold an 83,130 square foot property located at 3920 Pender Drive, Fairfax, VA for $22.2 million, including the repayment of $13.2 million of mortgage debt with an annual interest rate of 5.877% and excluding closing costs. Proceeds from today’s announced sale will be used for general business purposes.

This sale represents the final disposition of the six properties that were under purchase and sale agreements at year end. We are pleased with our ability to continue to execute on our capital recycling program in uncertain market conditions.
