Manchester United Plc Board of Directors Announce Share Repurchase Program

 

MANCHESTER, England--()--Manchester United Plc (NYSE: MANU, the “Company”) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program for up to $35 million of its Class A ordinary shares, effective immediately. Pursuant to the share repurchase program, purchases of Class A ordinary shares may be made in the open market, in privately negotiated transactions or otherwise. The Company may, from time to time, enter into Rule 10b5-1 plans to facilitate purchases of Class A ordinary shares pursuant to this authorization.

The timing of any purchases pursuant to the share repurchase program will be dependent upon market conditions and other corporate considerations. The share repurchase program does not obligate the Company to acquire any particular amount of Class A ordinary shares and may be modified, extended or terminated by the Board of Directors at any time. The Company will not purchase any shares from members of the Glazer family as part of this program.
