Washlava Names Sean Pomeroy Managing Director of Higher Education

Pomeroy’s experience and track record of driving growth make him an excellent fit as Washlava looks to expand on college campuses

TAMPA, Fla.--()--Mobile technology startup Washlava has named Sean Pomeroy as its new Managing Director of Higher Education. In this role, Pomeroy will work directly with the universities and educational institutions to bring Washlava’s services and innovative proprietary technology to college campuses across the country.

Pomeroy brings with him over a decade of leadership experience, specifically focused in the sales and growth initiatives for companies such as MetLife, where he worked within university programs to develop and implement student health solutions to help campuses provide more comprehensive and attractive packages for their students. Pomeroy has also worked within the higher education administration market providing offerings that enhance data security for students. Most recently, Pomeroy was President of Adsero Group, a Tampa-based benefit solutions and comprehensive special risk management company.

Pomeroy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University, as well as a master’s degree from the University of Miami’s Herbert School of Business.
