Jason Wagoner
- Jason joined CLA in November 2007 as a staff auditor and was elected a Principal with the firm’s Federal Government practice in January 2020. He has experience managing and conducting financial statement audits, attestation engagements, and performance audits at organizations ranging in size and complexity. Mr. Wagoner earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Cybersecurity from Towson University and University of Maryland Global Campus, respectively. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a Certified Government Financial Manager and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association of Government Accountants (AGA), and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He has served and remains active on the board of directors of AGA’s Baltimore chapter since 2018.
Scott Ing
- Scott joined CLA’s Federal Government practice in 2005 as a Manager and advanced to a Principal in January 2020. Scott specializes in assurance and consulting services with emphasis on Federal, DoD and other governmental agencies/entities. With over 16 years of experience in the areas of financial accounting, reporting, compliance evaluation, and auditing, Scott led Federal Financial Audit engagements such as United States Marine Corps (USMC), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Department of Transportation (DOT), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). Scott is similarly versed in conducting regulatory compliance reviews/audits such as government Charge Cards and Improper Payment risk assessments as well as advisory consulting engagements. Scott holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management Systems from the University of Richmond and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants (AICPA), Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and has been a past council member of CLA’s Diversity & Inclusion Council.
