The Standard Earns Best Place to Work Designation and Perfect Score on 2020 Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) is proud to announce that for the fourth consecutive year, it has received a perfect score on the 2020 Corporate Equality Index from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report that evaluates organizations on corporate policies and practices that support workplace equality for the LGBTQ community.

The 2020 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. The Standard’s efforts in meeting or exceeding all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100% ranking and designation as a Best Place to Work.
