SALT LAKE CITY--()--BioUtah, Utah’s only trade association dedicated solely to the life sciences, in partnership with the University of Utah’s Center for Technology & Venture Commercialization (TVC), today announced that early bird registration is open for the 2020 Entrepreneur and Investor (E&I) Summit. The E&I Summit connects Utah life sciences entrepreneurs, as well as early and late-stage companies that are on the frontline of health innovation, with local and nationally recognized investors.

The conference will be held on February 28, 2020 at the University of Utah’s Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House and proudly sponsored by Simpson Thacher. Early bird discounts are available for both members and non-members who register by January 31. For sponsor and exhibitor information view the Sponsor and Exhibitor Prospectus.

The E&I Summit will host a notable group of speakers and panelists, including industry leaders, mentors, entrepreneurs, investors, economic analysts, and investment experts. The program will also provide opportunities for companies to engage directly with investors.

“We’re designing the agenda to put innovators directly in touch with key investors who can discuss financing options, and industry leaders who can share valuable lessons learned,” said Kelvyn Cullimore, president and CEO of BioUtah. “Whether you’re looking for partners, funding, networking or expert advice, this is the place to be.”

“The sessions will reflect the needs and diversity of Utah’s life sciences industry,” said Keith Marmer, executive director and associate vice president of the TVC. “Our goal is to help move the dial in terms of access to investor capital and fostering an environment where new medical technologies and treatments can take root and succeed.”
