CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SWOOP Analytics has released the world’s largest-ever analysis of Yammer communities, Microsoft’s social network for business, and announced the top performing companies for internal collaboration from around the world.
SWOOP Analytics, the world’s leading Enterprise Social Network analysis company, released its findings at SWOOP Chat Chicago today after examining the collaboration behaviors of 98 organizations worldwide, representing more than 1.8 million employees and 15 million Yammer interactions over a six-month period.
SWOOP’s 2019 Global Yammer Benchmarking report found Yammer networks have grown and prospered over the past 12 months, despite high adoption of Microsoft Teams. In fact, SWOOP found overall collaboration activity more than triples when both Teams and Yammer are deployed.
This independent finding of a growth in Yammer networks follows Microsoft’s unveiling of a redesigned Yammer, which includes new capabilities and integrations with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint and Outlook.
In the report, SWOOP has recognized the world’s top Yammer performers for successful collaboration and presented them with SWOOP Awards for Outstanding Collaborative Performance.
The winners of the 2019 SWOOP Awards are:
Organizations with 5000+ employees
Organizations with 1000-5000 employees
- Medibank – Private health insurer
- NRMA – Member organization, roadside assistance, car rental, holiday parks and more
- RACQ – Member organization, roadside assistance, banking, insurance and more
- NSW Department of Customer Service – Australian state government department
- Bankwest – Bank
- Wiley – Global publisher
Organizations with 100-1000 employees:
- Chaucer – Global digital transformation consultancy
“These organizations have proven to show outstanding collaborative behaviors on Yammer,” said SWOOP CEO Cai Kjaer.
“They have shared their experiences of how this leads to better employee engagement, leadership connection and a more collaborative culture.”
The SWOOP research found organizations new to Yammer have learned from others’ experience to accelerate their adoption rates while more mature Yammer users have moved beyond the social media stages to gain business value by problem solving and innovating.
A cultural analysis shows that, when appropriately supported by executive leadership, Yammer can become an effective platform for cultural change across an organization.
