STEVENS POINT, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Delta Dental of Wisconsin is pleased to announce Doug Ballweg as president and CEO and he assumed this role on November 2, 2019. Ballweg replaces former president and CEO Dennis Peterson, who has retired after more than 41 years with Delta Dental. Peterson will now serve as the president of the Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation.
Ballweg joined Delta Dental in August 2010 as vice president, finance and chief financial officer and was subsequently promoted to Chief Operating Officer. His commitment to providing a high level of customer service, to further advance our mission to improve oral health, and to our employees, gives us tremendous opportunities ahead,” noted Pepi Randolph, Delta Dental of Wisconsin Board Chairman.
“I am fortunate to step into the role as president and CEO. I am proud of our committed employees who for more than 50 years have been fulfilling our mission to improve oral health. We will continue to make dental benefits easy – through exceptional customer service, quick and accurate claim payments, providing the most in-network dentists, and by making coverage affordable for our customers,” Ballweg said.
Ballweg is a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, holding degrees in both Accounting and Administrative Management. He is a licensed CPA by the State of Wisconsin since 1993.
