Jade Signature -- created by Pritzker Prize-winning firm Herzog & de Meuron and hailed as Miami’s most architecturally extraordinary oceanfront address -- was recently honored by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies with the 2019 American Architecture Award. The prominent distinction -- which spotlights the best new buildings designed and constructed by American architects in the United States and abroad, and by international architects for buildings designed and built in the U.S. -- is the nation’s highest public award given by a non-commercial, non-trade affiliated, public arts, culture and education institution.
The accolade coincides with Jade Signature being crowned a winner in BUILD Magazine’s annual Real Estate and Property Awards competition. The ultra-high-end Sunny Isles Beach condominium, which was developed under the leadership of husband-and-wife team Edgardo and Ana Cristina Defortuna of Fortune International Group, was named “Most Innovative Beachside Residential Development” among properties worldwide.
