TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Twenty one sports-related officials are scheduled to visit Japan from October 29th to November 6th as part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs “JENESYS 2019” promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
The group will visit Tokyo and Ehime Prefecture to have opportunities of international exchange under the theme of “Sports and Olympics”. In Tokyo, they will have a theme-related lecture, and visit facilities which are related to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. In Ehime, they will visit Ehime Prefectural government office and its facilities, which is certified as the Host Town of Malaysia for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, and will communicate with the stakeholders. The program aims to deepen their understanding of Japanese initiatives on Sports and Olympics and promote friendship between Japan and Malaysia.
Through this program, we hope it ties the relationship between Japan and Malaysia and the participants in this program will proactively share the appeals of Japan and other information after returning to Malaysia.

People with the ability and future mission to deliver messages between Japan and the countries and regions of Asia and Oceania are invited and dispatched in order to promote an understanding of Japan with regard to politics, economics, society, culture, history, foreign policy, and the like, and pro-Japanese people and experts on Japan are discovered in order to strengthen Japan’s message to other countries and expand Japan’s diplomatic foundation by having the guests and dispatches take the initiative to spread information about the diplomatic stance, appeals, and other facets of Japan.
