Ophthalmology Times® Releases 2019 Best Programs Survey Results

The annual survey seeks to recognize excellence across the nation's top ophthalmology programs.

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--Ophthalmology Times®, a leading multimedia platform dedicated to ophthalmologists, recently released the results from their 2019 Best Programs Survey. The long-awaited survey results shine a peer-awarded spotlight on the top 12 ophthalmic programs in the country across four categories: Best Overall Program, Best Research Program, Best Residency Program and Best Clinical Program.

“We are proud to continuously recognize the nation’s leading ophthalmic institutions and the hardworking team of health care professionals driving these programs forward,” said Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president and CEO of MJH Life Sciences™, parent company of Ophthalmology Times®. “As seen in each yearly survey, the names leading the rankings are motivated by a long-established quest for excellence and deserve to be acknowledged for their research, education, and dedication to improving patient care.”

Throughout its 18-year history, the annual Best Programs Survey has aimed to recognize and honor excellence in the most well-regarded ophthalmic programs nationwide. The results are determined by a poll of chairs and residency directors of major ophthalmology departments across the United States.
