Cannabis Training University Launches ‘Online Cannabis Education’ Curriculum to Support Colleges and Universities Across the Country

Mount Wachusett Community College and Worcester State University already offering comprehensive cannabis courses to students

DENVER--()--Cannabis Training University (CTU), the nation’s largest and most comprehensive online resource for cannabis education, is launching Online Cannabis Education (OCE), which provides pre-structured, ready-to-teach curriculum to colleges and universities across the United States and Canada. The OCE team partnered with industry professionals and cannabis educators to develop curriculum aimed at educating students seeking to enter the cannabis industry.

OCE, an “outside of the box” option for bringing valuable cannabis education to any campus, caters specifically to students interested in exploring all facets of the industry. OCE curriculum includes How to Grow Cannabis, Cannabis Cooking & Extractions, Cannabis Laws & Regulations, Dispensary & Delivery Service Management, Essential Budtender Skills, and Cannabis as Medicine. Through OCE, students at partner colleges and universities have 24/7 access to courses, videos, and e-books, as well as complimentary access to industry publications.

Thus far, OCE has forged partnerships with Mount Wachusett Community College and Worcester State University, both located in Massachusetts. Since launching, hundreds of students have utilized the OCE curriculum, which will soon expand to additional colleges and universities.

“The demand for cannabis education is growing every single day,” said Jeff Zorn, CEO of Cannabis Training University. “Students at colleges and universities across the country want their respective institutions to integrate cannabis education into existing classes and programs, and we look forward to building beneficial relationships with additional campuses in the coming years.”

As the cannabis workforce continues to expand—by as much as 211,000 jobs in recent years—the need for cannabis education has increased dramatically. The cannabis industry is the largest job creation machine in the country, and last year alone the cannabis workforce grew by 44-percent.

Founded in late 2009 by Jeff Zorn, CTU was first to market in the cannabis education space and at the forefront of the cannabis education movement. CTU is affiliated with and supported by many credible industry experts and brands, including renowned author, and “Guru of Ganja,” Ed Rosenthal, and the popular company Magical Butter.

OCE incorporates the most updated cannabis laws and regulations for every U.S. state, Canada, and numerous countries worldwide, making the content relevant anywhere in the world.

OCE is available to any two- or four-year higher education institution. For more information, please connect with OCE at support@onlinecannabiseducation.com.
