CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI), one of the largest dental support organizations (DSOs) in the U.S., announced the addition of Jan LeBeau, RDH, as Vice President of Hygiene Support for the West Coast.
The hiring is designed to support the company’s continued growth and expansion west during a year that has seen the first Aspen Dental locations open in California as well as the opening of a state-of-the-art scheduling center in Chandler, Arizona, just outside Phoenix. Aspen Dental is on track to open 80 new office locations nationwide in 2019 alone.
LeBeau brings 30 years of experience in the industry to her role, where she will co-lead the hygiene support team with Maureen Howes, RDH, Vice President of Hygiene Support – East and ensure that dental hygienists have the support and development they need to provide great care to their patients. The addition of LeBeau’s role comes at a critical time, as dental hygiene is one of the fastest growing careers in the health care support field.i, ii
“With a growing body of research that shows the link between periodontal disease and overall health, there’s never been a more important time to be working in dentistry,” LeBeau said. “I’m thrilled to join the team at ADMI and for the opportunity to support dentists and hygienists from across the Aspen Dental network as they strive to make a difference in the lives of patients who have not had consistent access to dental care.”
Prior to joining ADMI, LeBeau was Director of Dental Hygiene at Pacific Dental Services (PDS) and Chair of Dental Hygiene for PDS University Institute of Dentistry where she was instrumental in developing and implementing a large-scale diode laser program. Before PDS, Jan was with Nobel Biocare as Regional Sales Manager for the Greater Los Angeles area. She was a chair-side hygienist for 15 years before transitioning into management, sales and education. She is recognized as a subject matter expert in dental hygiene and laser dentistry and is active with the California Dental Hygiene Association and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Jan currently serves on multiple advisory boards including Biolase Lasers and Proctor and Gamble/Oral B. She has lectured nationally and internationally and has published many articles relating to dental hygiene and lasers in dentistry.
