Florida Bar Lawyers Adam Chertok, Corey Strauss, Joseph Sultan Join Firm

MIAMI--()--Riemer & Braunstein LLP, a law firm specializing in the representation of financial institutions, debt and equity funds, and sponsors in commercial real estate and real estate financing transactions, today announced it has added three attorneys to its Florida practice.

The new lawyers join Steve Klein, an experienced real estate attorney representing lenders and developers in sophisticated real estate transactions in Florida and nationally, who manages the Miami office.

Joining Riemer & Braunstein in Miami are Corey Strauss and Joseph Sultan, both with recent commercial real estate and financing experience in Florida and nationally; and Adam Chertok, a New York lawyer with experience on a range of foreign and domestic real estate transactions and financings.

“Corey, Joe, and Adam will add significant legal firepower to our Florida practice,” said Steve Weinstein, managing partner of Riemer & Braunstein. “Their combined years of experience in commercial real estate and real estate finance will augment the work we do for national clients as well,” he added.

Strauss, a graduate of Georgetown University Law School, has been working on the financing needs of REITS, institutional and private lenders in connection with commercial real estate projects. He also has experience representing clients in the acquisition, development and leasing of commercial properties nationwide. Sultan, a New York University School of Law alumnus, has been working on complex real estate transactions, including lender and borrower side financings, acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures. Chertok has developed a practice representing domestic and foreign operators and investors in real estate private equity and joint venture transactions since he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. Strauss and Sultan will work out of the Miami office while Chertok will be situated mostly in Riemer & Braunstein’s New York office.

Riemer & Braunstein opened its Miami office earlier this year bringing in Klein, most recently a shareholder at a well-known, established Miami firm, and previously a shareholder in the Miami office of one of the country’s largest law firms. For more than 23 years, he has been actively representing lenders and sponsors in all aspects of real estate finance and development.
