ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MellingMedical, a leading provider of medical supplies, equipment, devices and pharmaceuticals to federal health facilities across the country under the VA’s “Veterans First” procurement program, today announced a key addition to their leadership team, compliance expert John Loesch.
“John is well known in the government regulatory community for his detailed expertise and unshakeable integrity,” said Chris Melling, founder of the CVE-verified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. “Since we started this company with the goal of providing the absolute best array of medical products to America’s veterans, military and other patients of federal health care facilities, integrity has been our top priority. John enables us to maintain that commitment as our company scales to meet growing demand.”
Before joining the MellingMedical team, Mr. Loesch served in a series of pivotal roles in public and private sector organizations committed to regulatory enforcement and operationalizing compliance programs to manage enterprise risks. They included time at the CFP Board (Director of Investigations), at CSC (Director of Global Anti-Corruption Compliance) and at the Special Inspector General for the TARP program (Investigative Counsel). During his time in the SEC's Division of Enforcement, he supervised a number of complex enforcement investigations and was a lead attorney on the Enron Corporation investigation. Most recently, John was a Director of Navigant Consulting’s Global Investigations and Compliance group.
Mr. Loesch also was counsel to the U.S. Senate’s Committee on Governmental Affairs and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce. Prior to that, John, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, served as a surface warfare officer in the United States Navy before earning his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
