CHICAGO & CULVER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NantHealth, Inc. (NASDAQ: NH), a next-generation, evidence-based, personalized healthcare company, announced today at the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses’ (AMSN) 28th Annual Convention, new features to its Connected Care line designed to assist healthcare providers in improving the delivery and quality of care. NantHealth will be exhibiting at Booth 213, showcasing its new features through live demonstrations.
Updates in the VCX 3.0 software will help accelerate rounding workflow at the point of care to allow for automated vital sign capture and easy entry of other customized observations. Streamlining data validation through the use of a touch-based user interface can help reduce patient overstays. The point of care vital sign data entry can help facilitate faster decision-making as well by allowing the entry of other pertinent observations. In addition, NantHealth’s VCX 3.0 software will now support "smart" patient vitals monitors (including the GE VC150). This new capability enables hospitals to integrate NantHealth’s VCX solution with legacy vitals monitors while simultaneously supporting their transition to next-generation vitals monitors.
NantHealth also is announcing new features to the Shuttle cable. The updated Shuttle cable will help improve data collection, efficiency and accuracy using a medical-grade serial-to-USB interface cable.
“As the healthcare industry is constantly looking at process improvement, increasing patient safety and efficiency, NantHealth continues to make investments to innovate how devices can be integrated and how device-generated data can be used,” said Wesley Madden, BSN, RN, Vice President of Connected Care, NantHealth. “Our Connected Care solutions allow for seamless workflow integration through software technology to streamline the capture of device-generated patient data, allowing clinicians to make more informed decisions."
