ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alliant Health Solutions (AHS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and value of health care, has been named one of the “2019 Best Places to Work” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. AHS was ranked 19th among the top large-sized companies in Atlanta. This is the eighth time in 11 years that AHS has been named a top employer in Atlanta.
The Best Places to Work survey is conducted and published annually by the Atlanta Business Chronicle to recognize companies focused on creating a positive, effective work environment for their employees. In June 2019, employees of the more than 600 nominated companies completed a confidential, online survey measuring work environment, people practices, engagement, and trust in senior leaders. The results were then tabulated to determine each company's overall score and ranking – based exclusively on the survey responses of their employees. Last night, Atlanta’s 2019 Best Places to Work recipients were honored at an awards ceremony held at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be named among Atlanta’s Best Places to Work,” said Dennis White, AHS president and CEO. “At Alliant, we work to make health care better—an aim made possible by our dedicated, talented employees. Knowing our team members enable everything we accomplish, we take great care in cultivating a supportive, flexible, and rewarding work environment.”
Alliant’s culture of caring fosters a spirit of community that spreads beyond company walls. Employees and their families are offered frequent opportunities to serve others through charitable events and initiatives. This positive work environment is further supported through fitness and wellness programs, comprehensive benefits, and flexible work schedules.
“We continually work to enhance Alliant’s company culture each year by putting the voice of our employees at the forefront of our efforts,” said Margot Townsend, AHS human resources executive director. “We intentionally ask for and listen to employee feedback and utilize our engaged employee council to garner additional insight. Then we use the input we receive to guide us in implementing employee-focused initiatives that contribute to the well-being of our team members.”
