RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Medalist Diversified REIT (NASDAQ: MDRR) (the “Company” or “Medalist”), a Virginia-based real estate investment trust that specializes in acquiring, owning and managing value-add commercial real estate in the Southeast region of the U.S., completed the acquisition of Ashley Plaza, a 160,356 SF regional shopping center located in Greensboro, North Carolina, for a purchase price of $15.2 million.
Ashley Plaza is 98% occupied and anchored by Hobby Lobby, Planet Fitness, Ashley HomeStore, and Harbor Freight Tools, with several other regional and local tenants in the center.
