HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--After five years of service, Takeshi Ebisu has decided to step down as President and Chief Executive Officer of Goodman Global Group, Inc., a member of the Daikin group. The company announced today that Satoru Akama has been selected to replace Mr. Ebisu.
Mr. Akama came to Daikin in 1986 from Yokohama National University with a degree in Business Administration. He joined Goodman in April 2017 and most recently has served as the Executive Vice President and President, Goodman Business Unit.
With Mr. Akama’s promotion to CEO, Brad Snyder, who has served as Senior Vice President North America GBU Sales & Distribution, has been selected to lead the Goodman Business Unit as Senior Vice President and President, Goodman Business Unit. The leadership changes will be effective August 31, 2019.
The leadership structure for the other very important business units are unchanged. Taka Inoue continues as the Executive Vice President and President, Daikin Business Unit. Ardee Toppe remains as Senior Vice President and President, Quietflex and PTAC Business Unit.
