CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LC GC®, a leading multimedia platform of peer-reviewed technical information on the field of chromatography and the separation sciences, will host three webcasts in August.
“In an industry that is constantly changing, continued learning is essential in the realm of science and research,” said Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of MJH Life Sciences™. “In efforts to contribute to the everchanging industry, we are excited to present three different webcasts centered on the basis of sharing new approaches and best practices within the field of chromatography and the separation sciences.”
Each of the three webcasts presented by LC GC® will explore a different facet of the separation sciences, appealing to individuals like analytical chemists, chromatographers, polymer and protein scientists, lab researchers and others.
“Comprehensive N-glycosylation Analysis During Biologics Manufacturing Focusing on Biosimilarity” will be presented on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. EDT by András Guttman, senior manager of CE applications at Sciex CE and BioPharma. Guttman will outline the glycosylation in its entirety, which is considered one of the most important critical product attributes of glycoprotein biotherapeutics, and for any subsequent biosimilars. Attendees will gain an enhanced understanding of simplified N-glycosylation sample preparation workflow and analysis, the procedure for rapid 5-minute separations of fluorophore labeled glycans and automated glycan identification based on glucose unit values.
“A Revolutionary Approach to Light Scattering Technology” will take place on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. EDT. Presented by Ali Soleymannezhad, director of sales and marketing for Tosoh Bioscience LLC, this webcast will outline the fundamentals of light scattering detection, such as theory and applicable equations. The most common and latest approaches to analyze macromolecules through light scattering will be discussed. Participants will also gain insight into the latest approach to R determination.
“Increase Sensitivity and Reliability for Biopharmaceutical Applications by Simple Improvements in Sample Preparation” will be presented on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. EDT by Matt Brusius, global product manager for sample preparation at Phenomenex. Brusius will explore the latest techniques in effective sample preparation for large molecule samples prior to analysis. This webcast will also outline the use of recent advancements in immunocapture techniques for paramagnetic beads and provide attendees with an improved understanding of how to clean up N-glycan samples from excess labeling reagents, salts or surfactants to improve LC results.
