GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eagle Point Income Company Inc. (NYSE:EIC) (the “Company”) today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 1,200,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $19.89 per share, which will result in net proceeds to the Company of approximately $23.1 million after payment of certain organizational expenses and offering expenses. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 180,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Eagle Point Income Management LLC, the Company’s investment adviser, or its affiliates will pay the full amount of the sales load in connection with this initial public offering and all of the Company’s organizational expenses and offering expenses incurred prior to or in connection with the initial public offering that exceed $750,000 (excluding the sales load).
The Company intends to use the proceeds from the offering of its common stock to acquire investments in accordance with its investment objectives and strategies and for general working capital purposes.
Shares of the Company’s common stock are expected to begin trading on July 24, 2019 on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “EIC” and the offering is expected to close on July 26, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.
