SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The University of California San Diego’s Rady School of Management (Rady) and EvoNexus, Southern California’s leading technology startup incubator, have partnered to launch a program to create a new generation of FinTech startups. The partnership leverages a recent strategic corporate alliance created by EvoNexus, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Franklin Templeton (FT) to launch Southern California’s first purpose built FinTech Incubator. EvoNexus has begun an application round for FinTech startups. The new partnership with UCSD Rady will accelerate the development of new FinTech business solutions and the technology created by its students and alumnae.
EvoNexus, FT and RBC are focused on discovering and admitting FinTech startups in technology areas that include artificial intelligence/machine learning, bank/wealth/payment technology, capital markets technology, cybersecurity, blockchain, mobile payments, P2P lending, digital cash, InsurTech, RegTech, data science and predictive behavior analytics. FinTech startups admitted to the program will benefit from new, fully furnished incubator facility provided through the EvoNexus, FT and RBC collaboration. The FinTech incubator benefits from a well-established EvoNexus startup program with a proven success record.
