UPS Strategically Enters Instrument, Electrical and Analytical Services

HOUSTON--()--Universal Plant Services (“UPS”), a Jones Industrial Holdings company, announced today it has acquired Houston Controls, an industrial instrument, electrical and analytical service provider for routine maintenance, turnarounds and capital projects.

This acquisition represents the expansion into a new, critical service line broadening the suite of capabilities to more comprehensively serve new and existing customers. UPS adds over 450 electrical, instrument and analytical professionals, two facilities and a footprint of industrial operations served across Texas and beyond.
