DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Van’s Kitchen, one of the nation’s leading egg roll brands, will establish and celebrate the first ever National Egg Roll Day on Monday, June 10, 2019 honoring the company’s founding in June of 1986. Van’s Kitchen is a certified Women Owned and operated company that produces millions of egg rolls each year and is dedicated to making every bite the very best one by using only fresh, whole ingredients and crafting the egg rolls in artisan batches.

In honor of National Egg Roll Day, Van’s Kitchen will donate 90,000 egg rolls (equivalent to 45,000 servings) in June to a local branch of the Midwest Food Bank. Van Nguyen came to the U.S. from Vietnam in the mid 1960s when the U.S. State Department brought him to Washington D.C. as a teacher. Two years later, he was joined by his wife Kim and daughter Theresa. Van and Kim’s work ethic, as well as determination and love for egg rolls led them through the many challenges of adjusting to a new culture while starting a business.
