BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elsen, the Platform-as-a-Service company for large financial institutions, today announced that Elsen nPlatform was named a SIIA CODiE Award finalist in the Best Financial & Market Data Solution category. This is the second consecutive year for Elsen to be recognized as a finalist in the same category. In 2018, Elsen was recognized for a product developed through its partnership with Thomson Reuters (now Refinitiv), Thomson Reuters QA Point Powered by Elsen.
Being named a CODiE Award finalist adds to the significant traction that Elsen has gained recently through customer relationships and additional awards programs. Earlier this year, the company announced that Franklin Templeton selected Elsen nPlatform to accelerate its data-driven strategies. In addition, Fidelity Investments began working with Elsen through MassChallenge FinTech to explore ways Elsen nPlatform could cut down the time spent assembling large data sets. Most recently, Elsen was recognized as one of 29 U.S. companies named as a member of the WEALTHTECH 100, a list of the most innovative WealthTech companies selected by a panel of industry experts and analysts, and compiled by FinTech Global.
“As an award program that enlists respected industry experts to closely evaluate each nomination, becoming a CODiE finalist for the second year running is a big honor,” said Zac Sheffer, Elsen’s co-founder and CEO. “Being recognized this time specifically for Elsen nPlatform provides strong validation for the progress we’ve made in helping large financial institutions work more easily with massive amounts of data.”
The Elsen nPlatform gives asset managers a way to use incompatible data and modern technology to generate alpha, construct new products, and optimize data vendors. It allows any financial professional – quants, non-quants, and people in investment, research and analytics roles – to transform the way they work by letting them rapidly access and use data for analytics to guide investment decisions.
“The 2019 CODiE Award finalists are some of the most innovative, high-impact products in the market. We are happy to recognize these products and the power they have to transform the future of how we do business.” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review which determines the finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. Winners will be announced during the Business Technology CODiE Award Celebration at the SIIA Annual Conference & CODiE Awards, June 12 in San Francisco.
Details about each finalist are listed at http://www.siia.net/codie/Finalists.
