LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Members of the Design and Construction division at Hilton Management recently paid a visit to their upcoming project in the Caribbean – Tranquility Beach – in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The resort is part of the prestigious Hilton Curio Collection and joins an exclusive roster of hotels coming to the small island of Dominica. Officials at Hilton commended construction efforts and highlighted the competence of the team managing the project site. Tranquility Beach is available as an investment opportunity under Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme.
With a spectacular view of Dominica’s emerald waters, Tranquility Beach will be an environmentally-sensitive resort in the west coast town of Salisbury. It will comprise 73 rooms across state-of-the-art villas and condominiums. The hotel will have world-class features, such as infinity pools, cliff-hanger properties, a fine dining restaurant, a wellness and spa centre, two private beaches and events spaces.
During the ground-breaking ceremony in late 2018, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit emphasised how the project would support the local community: “This, no doubt, will be a major, major investment in Salisbury. The farmer there, the fisherman of Coulibistrie and Salisbury are looking forward to having an opportunity to supply this hotel with fresh fish and fresh agriculture produce.” He added: “Of course, it will no doubt create direct employment opportunities first in the construction phase but, very importantly, sustainable jobs when the hotel becomes operational.”
Dominica’s Tranquility Beach is one of many resorts expected to join the island’s luxury hotel register with various other projects scheduled to open their doors this year, most of which are available under Dominica’s CBI Programme. Classed by FT experts as the world’s best economic citizenship, the initiative enables global individuals and their families to obtain second citizenship in exchange for buying into pre-approved real estate, such as Tranquility Beach. Alternatively, citizenship hopefuls can contribute to the government-held Economic Diversification Fund, which sponsors a multitude of socio-economic initiatives on the island, including climate change resilience. Besides the projected return on investment and citizenship benefits, investors have the chance to contribute to Dominica’s aspiration to become the world’s first climate-resilient nation.
