The six members of the committee—Dr. Richard K.J. Brown, Dr. John A. Carrino, Dr. Ricardo Cury, Dr. Kimberly N. Feigin, Dr. Adam Flanders, and Dr. Evan Siegelman—are all highly respected radiologists in different, complementary subspecialties. Together, they form one of the country’s most distinguished bodies of radiological expertise.

Richard K.J. Brown, MD, FACR, is Director of Clinical Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the University of Michigan, where he also serves as Clinical Professor of Radiology. Dr. Brown is board certified in both diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine and is the National Co-Chair of the American College of Radiology’s Committee on Practice Parameters & Standards for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. He has served on the editorial board of RadioGraphics and is actively involved in quality initiatives both in his practice and nationally.
John A. Carrino, MD, MPH, is Vice Chairman of Radiology at the Hospital for Special Surgery and a former Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Carrino also serves as an editor for several academic journals and has coauthored over 250 peer-reviewed publications.
Ricardo Cury, MD, FSCCT, FACR, FACC, FAHA, serves as Chairman of Radiology at Baptist Health of South Florida. He is also the Director of Cardiac Imaging at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute and Clinical Professor and Vice Chairman of Radiology at Florida International University Wertheim College of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Cury served as the Director of Cardiac MRI at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has also served as an editor for numerous academic journals and is the coauthor of over 200 peer-reviewed publications.
Kimberly N. Feigin, MD, FACR, is a radiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she serves as the Lead Interpreting Physician for the Breast Imaging Quality Assurance Program at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center. Dr. Feigin serves on the Executive Committee of the New York Roentgen Society, a group devoted to radiologist education, as both a past President and an active board member. She is also involved in the New York State Radiological Society, the state chapter of the American College of Radiology, of which she is President-Elect and Chair of the Breast Imaging Committee.
Adam Flanders, MD, is Co-Director of the Division of Neuroradiology/ENT and Professor of Radiology and Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Flanders has published extensively on the use of MRI in the clinical evaluation of spinal cord injuries and also serves on the Acute Spinal Cord Injury Team at the Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center of the Delaware Valley.
Evan Siegelman, MD, is Section Chief of Body MRI at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Professor of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Siegelman is the author of over 200 peer-reviewed academic publications that have been cited almost 8,000 times.
