AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anaconda Inc., the world’s most popular data science platform and the foundation of modern machine learning, today announced the addition of Ken Hoffman as Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing. Drawing upon 25 years of experience growing both startups and large technology companies, Hoffman will focus on accelerating sales and marketing to capitalize on a rapidly growing market. IDC estimates worldwide spending on machine learning initiatives is slated to grow to nearly $36 billion in 2019*.
Hoffman has extensive leadership experience accelerating growth in technology organizations. Through several progressive roles culminating as Vice President of Emerging Technologies at Red Hat, he established and built out the firm’s emerging technology salesforce, helping transform the company from a $1 billion single-product company to a $3 billion multi-product enterprise. Previously, he served as Sales Director at Optaros.
“We’re delighted to have Ken join Anaconda as a member of our leadership team,” said Scott Collison, President and CEO of Anaconda. “He has a track record of building high-performance sales teams. I’m super pleased to have him as a colleague.”
With ever increasing enterprise investments in data science and machine learning initiatives, Hoffman will focus on driving the adoption of Anaconda Enterprise as the modern data science and machine learning platform for the innovative enterprise.
“Anaconda’s data science and machine learning platform sits at the heart of a large opportunity to capture enterprise investments in ML initiatives,” said Hoffman. “I am thrilled to join this incredible team and looking forward to helping our customers achieve their ML and business services goals with Anaconda.”
